Dear Parents,
I’d love for you to use this newsletter to review this week’s Bible story with your child at home.
This week, we’ll learn about “Paul Became a Christian” (Acts 9). On the road to Damascus, Saul heard a voice and asked, ‘Who are you?’ Even the men with him heard the voice too, but saw no one. Jesus appeared to Saul and changed him inside and out. Saul was chosen by God for a purpose. In fact, the Bible teaches us that every Christian is chosen by God and is given the purpose of proclaiming His praises. (1 Peter 2:9).
Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions. Tell your child that Jesus came into the world to save us. Jesus does not want to condemn or punish us for our sin. He desires that we trust in Him and be saved from the punishment our sin deserves. Remind them that God saved Saul and changed him inside and out. Saul was not beyond being saved by Jesus. Anyone who trusts in Jesus can be forgiven of their sins and be right with God.
Pray with your child, thanking God that He saves anyone who trusts in Jesus.
