Dear Parents,
Today, we’ll learn about “Jesus Appeared to the Disciples” (Luke 24). When we hear a familiar voice, such as a friend or a family member, we can usually recognize it easily. After Jesus rose from the dead, His followers didn’t always recognize Him at first. At the right time, Jesus revealed Himself and showed over 500 people that He is alive!
Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions. Remind your child that Jesus defeated sin and death. Tell your child that when we trust in Him, we are forgiven and given eternal life. Share how everyone needs to hear the good news of the gospel!
Then pray, thanking God for raising Jesus from the dead and asking Him to help us share the gospel with others.
