Dear Parents,
This week, we’ll learn about “Jesus Is Worthy of Worship” (Revelation 4–5). While on Patmos, John had a vision of heaven’s throne, surrounded by 24 elders and four living creatures praising God. They sang, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty.” John saw a scroll that only the Lion of Judah, Jesus, could open. The elders and creatures worshipped Jesus, the Lamb, singing His worthiness. Thousands of angels and every creature joined in worship, declaring Jesus’ honor and glory.
I hope this message will inspire your child to grow in the love and light of Jesus. To help reinforce the lesson at home, please discuss the following points with your child:
- John’s Vision: Describe John’s vision of heaven, including the throne, elders, and creatures worshipping God.
- The Scroll: Explain why only Jesus, the Lamb of God, was worthy to open the scroll.
- Worshiping Jesus: Talk about why Jesus deserves all our praise, honor, and blessing for what He did for us.
Pray with your child, thanking God for Jesus and worshiping Him for His sacrifice and love.
