Dear Parents,

This week, we’ll learn about “Paul Went to Rome” (Acts 27-28). As a prisoner, Paul was sent to Rome on a ship with other prisoners and soldiers. The journey was difficult due to strong winds and storms, but God sent an angel to reassure Paul. Paul encouraged everyone on the ship to trust God’s promise of safety. When the ship wrecked near the island of Malta, everyone made it safely to shore, just as God had promised. Paul’s trust in God’s promises helped save everyone on board.

I hope this message will inspire your child to grow in the love and light of Jesus. To help reinforce the lesson at home, please discuss the following points with your child:

  • Paul’s Faith: Talk about how Paul trusted God’s promise to keep everyone safe during the storm. Discuss times when your child has needed to trust God.
  • God’s Protection: Emphasize how God protected Paul and everyone on the ship. Reflect on how God takes care of us in difficult situations.
  • Sharing Faith: Highlight how Paul encouraged others to trust and obey God. Encourage your child to think about ways they can share their faith and encourage others.

Pray with your child, thanking God for His love and faithfulness and asking Him to strengthen our trust in Him.

Grace and blessings in Christ,

Danny Sungshin Park, Pastor of Children’s Cell
