Dear Parents,

This week, we’ll learn about: “Paul Was on Trial” (Acts 22-23). Paul faced many dangers and false accusations in Jerusalem, but he persevered with his trust in Jesus. Despite the Jews’ plans against him, God used these events to spread the message of salvation. The Jews were angry with Paul for his teachings and believed he had defiled the temple. While Paul was kept safe in the barracks, God encouraged him to have courage and continue his mission in Rome. Through it all, Paul remained steadfast, trusting in God’s promises.

I hope this message will inspire your child to grow in the love and light of Jesus. To help reinforce the lesson at home, please discuss the following points with your child:

  • Paul’s Perseverance: Talk about how Paul trusted God and remained strong despite false accusations and mistreatment. Discuss how we can also trust God during difficult times.
  • God’s Protection: Emphasize how God protected Paul and used his trials for a greater purpose. Reflect on times when your child has felt God’s protection.
  • Sharing the Gospel: Highlight Paul’s dedication to spreading the gospel, even in tough situations. Encourage your child to think about ways they can share Jesus’ love with others.

Pray with your child, thanking God for the way we can trust Him and His plans for our lives.

Grace and blessings in Christ,

Danny Sungshin Park, Pastor of Children’s Cell
