Dear Parents,
I’d love for you to use this newsletter to review this week’s Bible story with your child at home.
This week, we’ll learn about “Paul and Silas Started Churches” (Acts 15-18). Paul and his friend Silas were arrested for sharing the good news. During the night, an earthquake shook the jail and their chains broke. Let’s get ready to hear what happened to the jailer who was with them.
Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions.
Remind your child that God is so good! He deserves all glory, all praise, and all honor. Tell them that our mission as Christians is to make disciples of all nations. This is only possible through the Holy Spirit who empowers us to obey and helps us share the good news. Encourage them to remember that we get to participate in God’s work around the world by telling others how Jesus saves.
Pray with your child, praising God that He opens hearts to hear and believe in Jesus.
