Dear Parents,

I’d love for you to use this newsletter to review this week’s Bible story with your child at home.

This week, we’ll learn about “Peter Learned That Jesus Is for All” (Acts 10). Our Bible story includes a vision Peter saw with lots of different animals on a sheet. We will learn that when Peter was given a vision of different animals to eat, none of them were appealing to Peter either. Let’s learn why Peter didn’t want to eat these animals and what Peter’s vision actually meant.

Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions. Remind your child that the gospel is for all people, everywhere. Through faith in Jesus, God provided the way for all people to be reconciled back to Him. Tell them that we are all unique, just like different parts of the body, but when we place our faith in Jesus, we are united into one body. We all have a unique role in the body of Christ but are all essential. Jesus is Lord of all and wants all people, no matter where they’re from, to trust in Him.

Pray with your child, praising God that Jesus saves anyone who trusts in Him.

Grace and blessings in Christ,

Danny Sungshin Park, Pastor of Children’s Cell
