Dear Parents,
This week, we’ll learn about “The Holy Spirit Came”(Acts 3). Right before Jesus returned to heaven, He promised to send a Helper—the Holy Spirit—to His followers. In our Bible story, we will see how God kept His promise to send the Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit filled the disciples.
Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions. Remind your child that God’s promise to send the Holy Spirit came true at Pentecost. Share how anyone who trusts in Jesus will have the Holy Spirit live in them.
Tell your child that through the Spirit’s help, we can produce good fruit that shows His power and the love of Jesus at work in our hearts. Then pray, thanking God for the Holy Spirit who guides us to live for God’s glory.
