Dear Parents,
Today, we’ll learn about “Jesus Is Our Perfect King” (Colossians 1).
In our Bible story, Paul warned about a false gospel that taught Jesus was not enough. Paul said that we have a complete gospel and Jesus is all we need. Today, we will learn how the apostle Paul wrote a letter to a church to remind them that Jesus is King and that He does hold everything together.
Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions.
Remind your child that Jesus is our Perfect King and in Him we have all we need. Jesus fulfilled God’s promise to send a Savior, became our perfect sacrifice, and lives to reign forever as our King. Tell your child that we can trust that when we place our faith in Him, we will live in His kingdom forever.
Then pray, thanking God for sending His Son, Jesus, to save us and reign as King over all.
