Dear Parents,
Today, we’ll learn about “Jesus Warned about Not Acting” (Matthew 25).
Jesus told a parable about a lazy servant who did not believe his master was good. God is good and kind. He loves us and shows His love for us in many ways, including saving us from sin through Jesus. Knowing that God is good leads us to want to serve Him and live for Him.
Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions.
Remind your child that Jesus is our perfect Prophet who teaches us in truth and leads us to God. Discuss how Jesus taught us to serve others with hearts that want to honor Him. Explain that as we wait for Jesus’ return, we can live for Him by living out our faith. When we trust in Jesus, we have the joy of living for Him and spending eternity with God.
Then pray, asking God to help us live for Him and serve others.
