One night, God appeared to Solomon in a dream and told him to ask for anything he wanted. Solomon didn\u2019t ask for riches or power\u2014he asked for wisdom to lead God\u2019s people well. God was pleased and gave Solomon both wisdom and many blessings. This story reminds us that true wisdom comes from God, and when we follow Jesus, who is wisdom, we grow in understanding and life.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This message will inspire your child to grow in the love and light of Jesus. Reinforce the lesson at home by discussing the following points with your child:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wisdom Comes from God<\/strong>: Solomon asked God for wisdom to lead well. How can we ask God for wisdom in our choices each day?<\/li>\n<li><strong>God Blesses a Heart That Seeks Him<\/strong>: God was pleased with Solomon\u2019s request. How can we seek God with a humble and faithful heart?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jesus Is Our Perfect Leader<\/strong>: Solomon was a wise king, but Jesus is the perfect King.
