The Lord confused the enemy, sent hail to defeat them, and even made the sun stand still so Israel could win. Later, northern kings also tried to resist, but God gave Israel victory again. In the end, Israel received the land God had promised and found rest. This reminds us that Jesus has won the greatest victory over sin and death for us.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This message will inspire your child to grow in the love and light of Jesus. Reinforce the lesson at home by discussing the following points with your child:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>God Fights for His People<\/strong>: God gave Israel victory. How does God help us when we face challenges?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trusting God\u2019s Promises<\/strong>: God promised to give Israel the land, and He kept His word. How can we trust God\u2019s promises in our lives?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jesus\u2019 Victory Over Sin<\/strong>: God defeated Israel\u2019s enemies, just like Jesus defeated sin and death.
