We will hear how the apostles persevered and kept sharing the good news even when they faced challenges.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions. Remind your child that Jesus suffered in order to save us from our sins. Explain that even today there are believers all over the world who are being persecuted for their faith in Jesus. Read the names of some of the countries where believers are persecuted such as Pakistan, Iran, Russia, Kuwait, China, Somalia, North Korea, and Yemen. Ask your child to brainstorm some ways to pray for the believers in each of these countries.
