But during Jesus\u2019 time on earth, most oil was expensive. It was a treasured possession. In our Bible story today, a woman poured her expensive oil on Jesus. Some thought this was a waste. We\u2019ll learn that anything we give to Jesus, even if it\u2019s very valuable, is never wasted.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Review the gospel and encourage your child to speak with you if they have questions. Remind your child that Jesus is worthy of our worship for all He is and all He has done. Jesus is our Priest who never sinned but still took the punishment we deserve for our sin.
